"This was the first song I recorded for the mixtape.
Throughout the week, I may encounter about 10 different peeps selling/ giving away their product on the streets.
I support 'em...and every Saturday morning I'll roll one up and pop each cd in and scan thru.
It's all love.
Alot of artist I mentioned on that song are not heard by the masses.
I'm not out here selling millions yet, but I wanted to possibly expose their names to a different audience.
The artist that you ARE mostly familiar with, I just wanted to show them some love...while they are still on this earth.
Life is way too precious for any ego-trippin'.
They all get props!
Since I've recorded this song and let peeps hear it, they all agree that it should play on Detroit radio....in the freekin' mornings!!
I don't care about what time of the day it's played, it would be good to hear this joint on the box though.
It ties alot of peeps together, in my opinion.
I did the edited version and placed it on the tail end of the mixtape, just in case.
Wouldn't be upset if someone wanted to call a couple of Detroit radio stations and request it!
hint, hint...
Oh, and that 1 line about skateboards was definitely NOT a diss to Lupe Fiasco." -JUNE
